Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For decreasing dead spot in macrocell system, many attentions have been paid to AF(Amplify-and-Forward)relay transmission in which received signal is amplified and retransmitted. Previously, we have investigated MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output)AF relay transmission for indoor users in next generation mobile communication standard called LTE/LTE-Advanced. In these investigations, however, we have assumed co-polarized antenna in linear array configuration as transmit and receive antennas of each node(macrocell base station and MIMO AF relay node)and user. Meanwhile, a large number of cross-polarized antennas are used in current mobile communication system. In this paper, therefore, we evaluate MIMO AF relay transmission for indoor users by MIMO AF relay node with cross-polarized antenna between macrocell base station and user that have cross-polarized antenna.
