Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Trellis shaping(TS)is known as one of flexible techniques for peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR)reduction of single-carrier(SC)signals. In this paper, we investigate the effect of bit labeling of the trellis shaped PSK constellations on the PAPR reduction capability and bit error rate(BER)performance. We also propose a new bit-labeling suitable for our PAPR-reducing TS scheme that has a good PAPR reduction capability as well as BER performance comparable to those of conventional bit labelings.
