Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recent, power consumption in routers is increasing with speeding up transmission throughput of ethernet. Then, we proposed the high-speed and low-power control technologies using technique switched active lanes according to the transmission data for next generation ethernet. By proposed technologies, we have achieved 75% of improvement in power consumption compared conventional ethernet systems. This paper described designing proposed technologies and experimental result reveals good basic function verification using FGPA (Field Programmable Gate Array) for 100Gb ethernet.
