Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An ultra-broadband photonic transport system has been developed to expand the usable wavelength bandwidth for optical communication. Currently, we have focused on a use of a 1-μm wavelength band as namely a T-band(Thousand-band)to pioneer an ultra-broad optical frequency resources for the optical communications. In this paper, simultaneous 3 × 10-Gb/s error-free photonic transmissions are successfully demonstrated in the T-, C-, and L-bands by using the ultra-broadband photonic transport system over a 5.4-km-long holey fiber transmission line.
