Abstract(in English) Signal monitoring techniques using the information of the physical layer are important in order to operate complex systems, such as a coherent receiver with digital signal processing as they enable us to construct stable control loops. We propose signal monitoring techniques using low-frequency spectrum components provided by the Pseudo-Return-to-Zero modulation scheme. We have confirmed that polarization discrimination, and intra-polarization skew and chromatic dispersion monitoring over wide range can be performed.
