Investigation of Radio Propagation in Narrow Space in ICT Equipments

Abstract(in English) We conduct research and development to replace the wire harness in the ICT equipments with wireless communication technology to reduce CO2 emissions during their lifecycle. In this report, the internal radio noise level and propagation characteristics are measured and investigated in four kinds of ICT equipments(ATM, ticket vendor, vending machine, and printer). As a result, the radio propagation in the ICT equipments are divided into three propagation sectors, such as line of sight, boundary, non line of sight. It was also found that frequency dependence of the propagation loss was comparatively low.
