Abstract(in English) Multiple access technologies have been required for intersatellite communications between low earth orbit (LEO) satellites and geostationary orbit (GEO) satellites. Multiple-beam phased array antennas are effective as transmitting and receiving antennas on GEO satellites because they can scan their beam directions electrically and establish communication links with multiple user satellites. In the multiple accesses due to multiple-beam antennas, however, insufficient isolations between individual beams lead to interferences and they cause bit error degradations. In this report, null beam forming by phased arrays is studies as the key technology to suppress the interferences by antennas. Computer simulations indicate that multiple nulls can be formed by phase-control of each antenna element and the gain reduction due to it are investigated in detail. Some experiments validate the simulations.
