An Action of the Learning Support for Foreign Students

Abstract(in English) The Japanese government is going out of its way to assist the increase in foreign students. A lot of foreign students from enrolling in University, including several students who were low Japanese language ability student. Academic pursuits at our university designed a combination of general learning intended to give the student a wide knowledge base and specialized learning intended to allow the student to make deep study and research into a specific field of engineering. Under ordinary circumstances, we should assist foreign students on both sides of the fence. However, we've been developing method of assistance for specialized learning because number of general learning is large. In all of last year, we edited a lot of engineering terminologies as a supplementary reader for foreign students. By using it, this made it possible that they find how to speech it and what that means, but it have little currency. We understood that such new approach must be devised to the benefit of foreign students and teachers. In this paper, we reports our approach of learning support based on this terminology for foreign students by using twitter and Android mobile phones.
