Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Chatbots, who have been commonly found in Web chats, Instant Messengers, or PC games etc. and are being recognized more and more widely in recent years, are computer programs designed to simulate a human-like and/or intelligent conversation with one or more human users by using natural language sentences in a textual or auditory form. A human sometimes respond to his conversational partner(s) dependent on their shared time and/or space(place). Therefore, a chatbot could also respond to her human user(s) dependent on her time and/or space. This paper shows a prototype of spatio-temporal chatbots using Web knowledge, as a first step to realize "Spatio-Temporal Concierges" with knowledge and characters dependent on their shared time and space. |
