Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A new mobile satellite communications service named WIDESTAR II has been launched in Japan from April 2010. This paper intends to introduce the brief review of the radio channel allocation scheme in WIDESTAR II system. We manage the radio channel by the fixed bandwidth and offer various services by a unified resource mapping method. In this manner, flexible radio resources management was realized. Furthermore, dedicated bandwidth service, load balance and fairness among users were realized.
