Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) New satellite base station equipment was developed for the WIDESTAR II service, which began operating nationally in April 2010. This equipment handles high-speed wireless data communications arising from increasing demand. It has been designed with consideration for economic factors and to meet requirements of voice services over IP, with full functionality to connect the satellite equipment to IMS-based core network nodes, hi this report, we mainly describe an overview focusing on S-AP (Satellite Access Point) among the base station equipment.
