Abstract(in English) | The satellite-ground laser communications carried out in 2008 and 2009 are introduced with some descriptions on the experimental system and the results of the internationally cooperative demonstrations including four optical ground stations. The probability to avoid cloud blockage is computed by using images taken by a meteorological satellite. Besides, the visible windows of a satellite are predicted with employing the orbital information of OICETS where two ground stations are assumed to be placed within Japan area. With those results, the access probability of the ground stations to the satellite is estimated. |
