Abstract(in English) | In complex sensor environments, sensors give a large quantity of raw data. To recognize what is done in the environment, it is necessary to define a recognition method that finds correlation between information and raw data. In order to acquire information from sensors immediately, it is mandatory that the method is defined before the sensors run. However, when a new object or a new sensor is subsequently brought into the environment, new recognition method has to be defined and the system has to be reconstructed in spite of the system is running. In this paper we propose a framework of editing correlations between raw data and information even when the complex sensor environment is in operation. In our proposal, raw data given from the sensors is inserted into a database persistently. In addition, recognition method is stored as a part of ontology. By using the framework, an expert can add into the ontology a new element, which indicates a new recognition method and correlation between information and particular raw data stored in the database. We applied the framework to a complex sensor environment in which many RFID tags are embedded and humans wear accelerometers and RFID readers. As a result, by using the framework, information of human behavior for new objects and recognition method for sensor data were stored into the database as elements of ontology. |
