Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In focal plane array imaging like CCD or CMOS video or still camera, if one desire an image sufficient or meaningful for human sight, the necessary pixel number is enormous such as 10E5 or 10E6 or even more. Minimum may be, for scientific use, 10E3 (32×32, for example). This has been already retained in "video" imaging when per-pixel detector directly gives intensity data in dc domain. Imaging plates takes a form of VLSI, integrating sensor diodes or transistors and per-pixel integrator, supported by scanning or transfer electronics together as whole. In ultrasonic imaging, if taking this style, per-pixel electronics is of prohibiting complication and not too fit to gross VLSI chip integration. Here if one use rotating 1D-stripe array sensor-receiver system to get a sinogram of the image rather than image itself, followed by CT algorithm reconstruction (1)-(4), system is far simple and easy. In this study author devised a 0.5mm pitch, 25x25mm size, 50 elements 1D-stripe array for such concept, with successful trial operation and performance evaluation.
