Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) B-Flow ultrasound blood flow image enables to image high-resolution hepatic peripheral vessels in millimeter range without using contrast agent and its application to diffuse liver disease is expected. In particular, by detecting the abnormality of the blood flow moving state such as abundance of minute vessel, meandering of blood flow path and irregularity of the blood vessel wall, it is expected that the degree of the liver fibrosis can be evaluated. Although these depend on the interpretation of the image by the medical specialist, realization of quantitative diagnosis by the computer aided diagnostics leads to upgrade the credibility of the diagnosis. Based on these points, feature extraction processing was investigated for the quantitative evaluation of degree of cirrhosis disease from the information of the hepatic peripheral blood flow moving state obtained by the B-Flow image.
