Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) ETH-CC (Ethernet Continuity Check), which is standardized as one of functions in Ethernet OAM, have attracted attention for its high maintenance performance, because ETH-CC allows us to monitor connectivity between terminals all of the time. In this paper, we propose a method which we can decide automatically values of parameters in ETH-CC configurations. Parameters in a terminal which sends check frames depend on ones in other terminals which receive the check frames. Hence, if we want to change a value, we must do not only it but also some values on the other parameters. So the network has the more terminals, the more it causes mistakes of change configurations. In order to address this problem, our approach represents relations among parameters as constraints, and obtains values which are satisfied with their constraints using a constraint satisfaction solver. We show formalizations of ETH-CC configurations and measurements of processing times in our approach.
