Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Transceiver architectures and tunable filter technologies towards SDR: software defined radio are discussed. For the first, it is explained why the conventional receiver architecture of analogue channel selection filter with AGC is adopted due to the general requirement of 80 dB or more dynamic range. Next, based on those technical background and trend, it is shown that analogue filters, especially tunable ones are required for SDR receivers for some or long years to come. Finally, R & D trends and feasibility of analogue tunable RF filters are discussed. |
