Abstract(in English) In these days, many wireless systems are operating in ISM bands. There, many fragmented radio resources remain unused in time and frequency domains because they have different signal bandwidths, and they select their operating radio frequency channels autonomously and distributedly. The authors have proposed a new wireless system based on dynamic spectrum access. Since it commences its communications over such unused(vacant)radio resources which cannot be utilized by legacy wireless systems, it is important to analyze how the unused radio resources exist when multiple legacy systems are operating with high traffic loads. This paper reports some measurement results of radio resources usage in an anechoic chamber when IEEE 802.11b wireless LAN and Bluetooth are operated with high traffic loads to saturate their throughput. Through the measurement results, it is confirmed that the coexistence of the two wireless systems increases unused radio resources due to interference and interaction between them.
