Analytical Transmit Power Design for Gathering Sensing Information on Shared Primary Spectrum with Individual and Cooperative Hybrid Sensing

Abstract(in English) In spectrum sharing for cognitive radio, cooperative sensing has been focused because it has high ability of the primary signal detection and can get rid of the influence of wireless channel locality. The cooperative sensing requires gathering the sensing information from surrounding nodes. The efficiency of spectrum utilization is improved if the secondary system can effectively gather the sensing information by using same spectrum of the primary system. However, in this case, there is a possibility that the sensing information transmitting from a secondary node located near the primary system causes harmful interference to the primary system. Therefore, in this study, we propose a hybrid sensing combining an individual sensing and a cooperative sensing to avoid causing harmful interference to the primary system. Moreover, the interference to the primary system and the required spectrum resource are controlled by analytical deriving the transmit power of node to transmit the sensing information. In this paper, we confirm that our previously proposed orthogonal frequency sensing information gathering method(OF-SIG)can gather has sensing information without causing interference to the primary system by using the proposed hybrid sensing and power control.
