| 抄録(和) | 福祉情報工学研究会において1999年から2009年までの10年間に発表された視覚障害者支援技術に関する研究をレビューした.最も多い研究テーマはパソコン利用支援に関するものであり,研究報告の3割を占めた.更にパソコン利用支援の4割がWebアクセシビリティに関するものだった.次に多いのは,移動支援,点字,入出力インタフェース,音声に関する研究で,これらが継続的に進められている.盲ろう者支援に関する研究が多い一方,ロービジョンの支援に関する研究は少なかった.実用化された研究が多いことも分かった.このレビューを踏まえて,利用者の立場から,今後の研究に対する期待を述べた. |
| 抄録(英) | This paper reviewed Technical Reports of IEICE which were presented in Technical Committee WIT for the last ten years (1999-2009) and dealt with assistive technology for visually impaired and blind persons. The most dominant theme was technologies assisting the use of personal computers; 30 percent of the reviewed reports handled it. Among them, 40 percent studied Web accessibility. Followings were technologies assisting mobility and navigation, braille, I/O interfaces, and speech. Researches for the assist of deaf and blind persons were reported in a big number whereas only a few researches for low vision were reported. Many research results became available on the market as well as freely on the Web. Based on this review, the second author, a user of these assistive technologies, described future expectations in this research field. |
