| 抄録(和) | OLSR (Optimized Link State Routing)では経路制御ドラフィックを抑制するために,各ノードは隣接ノードの一部をMultipoint Relay (MPR)として選択し,MPRに選ばれたノードのみが経路制御(Topology Control, TC)メッセージを生成し中継する.しかし,既存のOLSRの実装では,各ノードは他のノードの選択とは独立にMPRを選択するため,必ずしもMPRの数は少ないとはいえない.そこで本稿ではMPR集合の選択方法に着目し,従来の方法では冗長なMPRを選択していることを示し,ノード間で協調しMPRを選択した場合との比較をする.具体的には,MPRとして選択されるノード数やTCパケット数を比較し評価する.その結果,従来の方法では約20%～45%程度の冗長なTCパケットが存在することを示し,従来のMPR選択方法に改善の余地があることを示す. |
| 抄録(英) | In order to reduce routing control traffic, each node selects a Multipoint Relay (MPR) set from its neighbors in OLSR (Optimized Link State Routing) protocol. The node selected as MPR generates and forwards Topology Control (TC) messages to flood topology information to all neighbor nodes. However, a large number of MPR nodes are selected because each node selects an MPR set independently of other nodes' selection. In this paper, we focus on the MPR selection in OLSR, and show redundant MPR nodes are selected. We compare the independent MPR selection and cooperative MPR selection with other nodes, and evaluate the number of selected MPR nodes and the number of TC packets. The results show that about 20% to 45% redundant TC packets are generated in the independent MPR selecion, and thus MPR selection algorithm should be improved. |
