Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As a simple call admission control for large networks, we have proposed an input flow limitation scheme which can maximize network throughput for arbitrary traffic matrices among source and destination node pairs. Since this scheme aims at maximizing network throughput for arbitrary traffic matrices, it cannot achieve the network throughput in case that all components of traffic matrix are known. However, when some traffic in local links is known by traffic observations, we can improve the network throughput obtained for arbitrary traffic matrices. In this paper, we formulate the input flow limitation scheme in case of some local traffic known, and show the availability of this scheme by applying it to NSFNET and COST239 network topologies.
