Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Due to explosive growth of Internet usage, the current Internet is facing problems in terms of traffic congestion inside networks and performance degradation of end-to-end flows. To achieve the network performance, effective usage of limited network resources (i.e., the link bandwidth) are required. In this paper, we propose adaptive split connection schemes in advanced relay nodes, which split and manage end-to-end TCP connections, based on congestion status in output links. Through simulation evaluations, we discuss the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
