Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we made a research on lifecycle management of healthcare information, especially focused on disposition. At present, the Japanese Government facilitates IT deployment into healthcare, which increases exchange of sensitive healthcare information. This increase of healthcare information exchange causes various kinds of organizations to create and maintain healthcare information. Also, business environment on healthcare has been rapidly changed: for example, media in which healthcare information is stored changes from papers to electronic forms, and more and more new clinics opens and closes than ever. Changes of business environment on healthcare induces changes of environment for healthcare information storage. This change necessitates clear regulations for protection of healthcare information, and these regulations are now materialized as many guidelines. In this study, we made a research on consistency of regulation about healthcare information storage including disposition, and revealed no clear statements on disposition of healthcare information.
