Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Reliability improvement is indispensable to use satellite positioning for railway position detection system. To improve GPS position-fix accuracy, we research peculiar phenomena or features which may be attended with accuracy deteriorated cases. This paper reports the GPS-accuracy classified according to directions by the on-board GPS data and video images. And we compare characteristic of both of train proceeding-direction and rail-sleeper's direction.
