Abstract(in English) | ICT technologies are used in everywhere, so consumed power is also increasing. To solve these issues, 100Gb-Ethernet technologies which use high-speed and low-power optical and electrical devices are very important. In this paper, we describe technical trend of Ethernet and related devices, such as optical components and CMOS-LSIs. Also we describe the power saving technologies for network equipments. The power-saving technologies also use high-speed and low-power optical and electrical devices for 100Gb-Ethernet. |
