Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A cellular phone is widely used and expected for helping health management. This paper proposes a method of calculating a physical activity using a cellular phone. The physical activity is calculated from GPS data as a means to monitor a lifestyle habit. As a result, the physical activity that is about 200m shorter than actual moving distance can be calculated. Moreover, the physical activity pattern on weekdays and holidays can be classified by a cluster analysis. It is expected that the system is useful to monitor health conditions.
