Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Fujitsu's RakuRaku phone series with the voice output function can send GPS information by e-mail. Using this information we developed a mail service with which users can receive mails about names of shops and buildings in the vicinity of the present location and the distances and directions to them. Also, users can set the range of the search, select the types of shops to search and choose whether or not to feedback the distance. Five blind persons used this service and returned questionnaire about it. The result shows that improvements of the service such as speeding up the responses, increasing information on rest rooms and parks and others are necessary.
