Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed a gaze estimation system with Web camera and investigated switch of attention and its characteristics of a participant with higher brain dysfunction, in particular with disorder of executive function and attention disorder. In ''pinball like training'' his gaze followed the motion of the left ball only, and he neglected the right ball, at an early stage of the training. This training had been continuously executed and his gaze became to follow the motion of the ball on both sides, but his gaze is divided into right and left balls. It means that his attention is not divided both sides evenly. Therefore we adjourned this training for a while and carried out some other trainings which are based on the trail making test like, playing cards and Japanese backgammon like games. After these trainings, ''pinball like training'' was restarted again. We investigate whether those trainings increased the ability of moving his gaze to right and left ball evenly. As the result, it is confirmed that he could switch his gaze right and left alternately. It was found that the nutation of attention is improved by the training with our tools for executive function.
