Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The rapid growth of the wireless network and the function of mobile terminal enable us to use the services like multimedia streaming over wireless networks which need wide bandwidth. P2P multicast, in which a terminal relays content to other ones is able to deliver to enormous terminals with load-balancing. Transmission instability caused by the radio characteristics of wireless access and frequent joins and leaves in mobile service motivate us to build the distribution topology in mobile P2P multicast service considering the relay ability of mobile nodes. In this paper, we propose a novel relay ability estimation method that integrates the multi-dimensional context parameters of the mobile node using statistical analysis. We can build a robust and high efficiency P2P topology using estimated relay ability. We model a mobile P2P multicast service and validate our method through computer simulation.
