Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The IP-FRR (IP-Fast Reroute) technologies that achieve high-speed restoration to the failure by proactive calculation in the IP network are proposed. MRC (Multiple Routing Configurations) method is one of the technologies that achieve IP-FRR. The MRC method prepares detour routes by using backup configurations. The MRC method achieves high-speed restoration by changing proper backup configuration after failures. In a backup configuration, the link cost of the link regarded as a failure point is set to a high value. Therefore, the number of links that can be used by a detour route is limited, and there is a problem that the load concentrates on a specific link. As an approach to this problem, in this paper, we propose two methods that the backup configuration creation algorithm to improve the utilization efficiency of the network resource. One of the methods is to pay attention to the amount of total traffic based on traffic matrix, and the other method is to pay attention to the node-degree of the network topology. The evaluation shows that our methods is effective that to improve the utilization efficiency of the network.
