Abstract(in English) This paper evaluates performances of multi-band inter group and inter vehicle communications(MBIG-IVC)systems for advanced safety vehicle(ASV)applications. MBIG-IVC systems use 700MHz and 5.8GHz bands to reduce the packet collision probability and to transmit packets of safety information to the far vehicles. Moreover, in this system, a continuous packet transmission system is available in order to improve the performances of packet successful rate(PSR). However, it is assumed that the packet collision probability is degraded when the number of vehicles and the number of the continuous packets increase in the service area. Therefore, in this paper, simulation results show that PSR and packet delay performances depend on the number of continuous packet transmission, and it is necessary to control the number of continuous packet in the future.
