| Abstract(in English) | This paper describes a simulation technology for Road-To-Vehicle Communication(RVC)system with DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communication)and IR(Infrared). In the development of RVC system, we need to evaluate/test the developed system in various traffic situations. But it is difficult to carry out these evaluations and tests including wireless communication between moving vehicle equipped with wireless on-board unit(OBU)and road side unit(RSU)in the real world, because of the cost and safety problems. In order to solve this problem, we have developed hardware-in-the-loop simulator for RVC system in cooperation with real DSRC and IR system and made it possible to do evaluations in the laboratory. |
