| Abstract(in English) | This paper describes research trends of pedestrian navigation systems from a viewpoint of taxonomy by analysis of published years and cumulative numbers of papers about position maps for classifying navigation systems, positioning methods and human-machine interfaces(HMI)as elemental technologies, and functions and targeted users of pedestrian navigation systems. As the result of the analysis, we get clear-cut view of main research fields of pedestrian navigation systems and fields not enough considering. |
