A traffic accident prevention model in confluence part of highway

Abstract(in English) The danger of the accident in the confluence part that many vehicles meet is very high, and the decrease of the accident here is hoped for in the highway to which the vehicle moves at high speed. In case of conventional report, it is only a grasp of the position with the communications equipment installed in the car and, it is uncertain which vehicle in many vehicles is objects of the control. And, we aim at the decrement of hazard in the confluence part based on information on the vehicle suitable for the geographical situation. We proposed the model which set the surface danger area to the highway confluence part to prevent a traffic accident. And, the acceleration and deceleration of each car is controlled, and two cars or more are not made to exist in the district as a result. In this report, the effectiveness of this model was clarified by the simulation.
