Abstract(in English) | Electromagnetic responses of near self-complementary metal checkerboard patterns (MCPs) in the terahertz region are investigated by finite-difference time-domain simulations and experiments for samples fabricated by a printing method. It is revealed that the MCPs exhibit drastic changes in the spectral responses depending on very small structural variations whether the metal squares contact with each other or not. |
