Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The optical wireless systems are free space communication using optical beam for information carrier instead of radio wave distribution. Optical communication systems have several advantages and high potentials, which has high-speed carrier frequency, broad band transmission and strong-confidentiality. However conventional optical free-space communications require the complicated control mechanism to manipulate the optical beam path when the user moves out. So, we have proposed the new flexible free-space communication concept without such complicated mechanical control. This concept can apply to the optical wireless micro cell access communication system which fits on moving user's flexible communications for multiple users indoor access systems. This paper reports the relationship of free-space beams, cells-layout and their control.
