Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) iSCSI should be a strong candidate for the protocol of the remote backup. However, it is known that iSCSI has a demerit of performance deterioration in the case of longer-latency environment. An iSCSI storage access in IP-SAN is a procedure composed of multiple hierarchical protocol. Because the protocol stack of iSCSI is complicated and the storage access is executed through all these layers, any layer can be a performance bottleneck. Therefore, system tools which can analyze through all the layers are needed. We have proposed and implemented such system tools in this paper.
