Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Although many museums have already been aware of the importance of constructing a virtual museum, facing at the huge investment and the long cycle, they have to choose giving up. How to make the process standardized, modular, low-cost and high efficiency will be great significance for the virtual museum development. This paper provides an outline of Object VR Movie production system which is a part of Virtual Museum project. This system includes the hardware for image capturing and the software for image processing. The hardware is a regulating system which is controlled by a general purpose controller. It gets the setting data from PC, and controls the machinery. The software is not only processes the captured images but also generates Object VR Movie. From the result of the experimentation, it verifies that our design is fit for the project. It is a nice quest and surely provides an instructional design process.
