Domain ontology expansion supporting method by web retrieval

Abstract(in English) A technique for supporting the construction of domain ontology in requirements analysis with computer is proposed. However, there is a problem that required concepts are missing in this technique. We thus propose a technique to extract candidates of additional concepts from domain documents. In our technique, we make subdomains from domain ontology that is finished with construction and acquire domain documents related to each subdomain by using a Web search. We applied this technique to POS domain ontology to evaluate the utility of this technique.
