Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) New signature scheme based on Stepwise Triangular Scheme (STS), which is one of the basic trapdoors of Multivariate Public Key Cryptosystem (MPKC), is proposed. This new signature scheme includes new random variables in each layer, thereby making the rank of each polynomial equal. Therefore the new scheme is resistant to the rank attack. It is confirmed by experiment that the new scheme is secure against other algebraic attacks such as Grobner bases attack. In addition, it works more efficiently than existing MPKC signatures.
