| Abstract(in English) | RICOH Company takes part in the standardization processes of MPEG-7 and has been developing various multimedia based applications so far. We introduce validity of the meta information which treats multimedia information and RICOH's products MPMeister which adopts MPEG-7 based meta information. As the practical case of meta-based multimedia application, we describe about "Lecture Archive System" which can manage and retrieve MPMeister's contents. We also mention some problems around the meta information and propose solution schemes. |
