Inverse Synthetic Imaging LIDAR : No Targets Can Hide(WSANE 2009 (Workshop for Space, Aeronautical and Navigational Electronics))

抄録(英) This paper proposes a new concept of ultra-high-resolution imaging radar-inverse synthetic aperture imaging LIDAR (ISAIL). Because the laser signal possesses much shorter wavelength and extremely wider band than the microwave, if the laser is used as the radiant signal of inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR), ultra-high range and azimuth resolutions can be easily achieved. In this paper, the effect of optical heterodyne detection under condition of stochastic atmospheric turbulence is analyzed, and a scheme of this kind of radar is designed. An imaging algorithm for the ISAIL system in the ideal condition is also presented. Finally, the simulations show that the images achieved by the ISAIL system have much higher quality than that of the microwave ISAR system and more targets will be explored by the ISAIL system.
