Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) ACR-HR and SAMVIQ methods are new subjective assessment methods of video quality provided by ITU-T and ITU-R recommendations. This paper presents performance comparison results of four subjective assessment methods, such as DSCQS, DCR, ACR-HR, and SAMVIQ, to clarify the applicability of the methods. We examined subjective quality assessment for mobile video, also measured the assessment time and executed questionnaire for the subjects. The evaluation performances of each assessment method were compared, and the following results were obtained. The correlation coefficients and order correlation coefficients between DSCQS and other methods' mean opinion scores showed high. Evaluation accuracies for DCR, ACR-HR, and SAMVIQ were higher than or equal to the DSCQS. Moreover, subjects' questionnaire results showed that the easiness of evaluation was related to the assessment time.
