Abstract(in English) | In recent, several examinations are done to detect sleepiness for the safety of the driving car or other industry machines. For detecting some cues of the fatigue of the human body or sleepiness, brain waves and the finger plethysmogram are often used which express the flow of the brood. The sensors detecting the movement of the body are also used. However, the systems using these parameters are fairly large and complicated. And further experiments are required for the precise detection of the sleepiness. We tried to measure the sounds in the human body for detecting the sleepiness in previous report. In this experiment, NAM microphone system is used for measuring the sounds. The signals are analyzed into the cepstral coefficients and the feature parameters are defined using these coefficients. The feature parameters are compared with the signals obtained from the piezoelectric sensors, which is effective to detect the sleep in sleep-wake state. Relationship between the time variations of the feature parameters and sleepiness are reported. But the measuring experiments are limited and the results are ambiguous. In this report, the measuring experiments of the human body are done 9 times using 3 examinees. The measuring points of the sounds in human body are changed and the usage of cepstral parameters constructing the features parameters of the sounds in human body is also changed. Experimental results are described in this report. |
