Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We are suggesting text independent talker identification system by using narrowband envelope correlation matrix (NECM).The NECM is obtained from narrowband speech envelopes. This paper reports the correct judgment ratios by changing narrowband filter and analysis time lengths of this system, and effect of ambient noises. The highest correct judgment ratio for male speech is 87%; the filter length is 23ms and analysis time length is 8ms. The result for female speech is 84%; the filter length is 12ms and analysis time length is 4ms. The correct judgment ratio with the ambient noise is more over 70% even through SNR is 15dB.
