Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose an improvement method for multiple sound source localization based on the extended histogram. In general, the wider space of microphones is used for improving performance, the more accurately we can estimate the direction of each source. However, some false peaks may appear on the extended histogram. In this paper, a new reliability index based on results of low frequency band where no spatial aliasing arises is proposed to exclude such the false peaks. Several experimental results in an actual room environment are shown to present an ability of the proposed method. |
