Abstract(in English) The authors are working on Coordinated multi-point (CoMP) transmission technology for the 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE)-Advanced specifications through the discussion on Radio Access Network Working Group 1 (RAN WG1). In this paper, we show our ongoing work on several essential aspects of realizing CoMP transmission in terms of macro-diversity, which include precoding, reference signal design, UE measurement and feedback.
