| Abstract(in English) | The Priority Policy Program 2008 of Japanese government specifies measures of informatization in the medical field, which includes the establishment of the structure for every citizen to manage and utilize his own health information. By such structure, it is easy to manage health information through a lifetime having full control of the information. Moreover, submission of the accumulated information of the when consulting in the medical institute make it possible to realize the evidence-based medicine by the provision of the long-term variation in patient's state of health. We have studied personal health information management system based on e-P. O. Box conception. In this paper we report the result of a survey on the consciousness about the personal health information management system based on the concept of e-P. O. Box which the government has proceeded to introduce. |
