Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | To find out whether the violin sounds are chaotic or not, four surrogate tests are applied to the sounds. The tests use random shuffle surrogates, phase-randomized Fourier-transform surrogates, iterative amplitude adjusted Fourier transform surrogates, and pseudo periodic surrogates (Small's test). The results show that the sounds would be nonlinear and have determinism beyond pseudoperiodicity. |
